Do you train aimlessly? 70% of people just wing it at the gym.

📌 Introduction:
Did you know that most people who go to the gym don't have a clear routine or know if they're training well? Many believe that just moving their body is enough... but training aimlessly can actually sabotage your results. In this post, I'll show you how most people train these days, why it's a problem, and what you can do to improve.

📊 How do people train today?
Although it may seem incredible, in 2025, there are still many people training without a clear routine. According to recent surveys and my daily experience, the picture looks something like this:
- 🔹 40% train without a defined routine. They improvise, copy what the person next to them does, or choose what they like best… that day.
- 🔹 30% use generic routines from apps or social media. Some are based on AI, others copied from influencers. But without real adaptation.
- 🔹 20% train with a personalized plan created by a coach. There is a clear structure and goals, but no weekly follow-up.
- 🔹 10% receive 1-on-1 coaching. They train with strategy, weekly adjustments, load control, and consistent results.
😓 And what about those who improvise?
- They always repeat the same thing → they stagnate.
- They do not control loads → they do not progress.
- They don't know when to change exercises → they get frustrated.
- They get injured due to poor technique or overtraining.
- They become demotivated → they give up.
🔍 My personal experience as a coach:
"Most of the people who start training with me tell me they've been training for a long time... but the truth is they never learned to train properly. Either no one taught them, or they never bothered to understand the 'why' of what they were doing. The result: poorly executed routines, overtraining, or just pointless training. And yes, it shows in the body. Not just for aesthetic reasons, but because many fail to advance in strength, technique, or confidence."
🤖 What about AI?
AI apps or routines can be helpful to get started, but:
- They don't assess your real context (injuries, fatigue, available time).
- They don't correct your technique.
- They don’t know if you’re training seriously or “doing it.”
- They don't motivate you when you want to throw in the towel.
⚠️ They're like having a GPS... without knowing exactly where you want to go.
✅ What should you do?
Training with a plan tailored to you, with progression and follow-up. It not only helps you perform better, it gives you back control over your own body.
🗣️ Real testimony:
“I used to train on my own for years, copying routines from the internet… but I didn't understand why I wasn't making progress. Since I started training with structure and follow-through, I've not only changed physically: I've also gained confidence and consistency.”
